The purpose of the AEA Basketball Club is for employees who enjoy playing basketball to get together to play in an environment of good sportsmanship and great exercise. Members often gather to play “pick-up” games at local courts. Also, club members form teams to enter competitive basketball leagues.

The Club helps pay for the league fees and equipment. LAAFB Intramurals, Redondo Beach Parks & Recreation, and Harbor City Seniors are three such leagues that AEA Basketball Club members have participated in. The club has enjoyed many years of basketball at local gymnasiums and outdoor courts by Aerospace employees possessing a “love for the game.” If you are interested in this club, please contact our president or vice president.

 Meetings: 
We have a group of club members that play pick-up basketball games at the LAAFB Fitness Center. Typically these are on Tuesdays at 12:30pm. All skill levels are welcome.
 Dues: 
Current Aerospace employees (M1) pay $10 a year to be a member. Retired Aerospace employees (M2) pay $10 a year. Friends and family of Aerospace employees (A1, A2, A3) pay $20 a year.
