Tai Chi Quan is a martial arts form that enhances balance and body awareness through slow, graceful, and precise body movements. It is characterized by movements that relax your body and quiet your mind as Chi (the life force) circulates through you, cultivating an internal center of peace. We teach and practice the Yang Style Long Form in the AEA Tai Chi Club. We have added classes for other styles of internal martial arts.

Brief explanation of Tai Chi, Bagua, and Xingyi: Tai Chi, Bagua, Xingyi are the three major styles of internal martial arts. They share the same theory, but the techniques are different.
Tai Chi movements are gentle, slow, agile, stable, and sinking. Tai Chi helps to have a peaceful mind by its meditative function.

Bagua movements are hard and soft with a very agile body. Bagua changes the directions agilely by turning the body and using circle-walking steps.

Xingyi movements are compact, and its forms are simple, but the content is very rich. It is a straight force full of power. Tai Chi, Bagua, and Xingyi complement each other.
