The
El Prado courses (Butterfield Stage and Chino Creek) were designed by architects
Harry and David Rainville. Early in California statehood pioneers traveled to
the wild-west via stagecoach. The Butterfield Stage course was named after a stagecoach
stop local to the golf course property, while the Chino Creek course was named
for the rivers and creeks the stagecoach crossed. Both golf courses are enjoyable for all levels of players with wide-open fairways, large mature trees and just enough bunkers and water holes to make your day memorable. While playing at El Prado it is not unusual to see Red Tail Hawks, migratory ducks, birds and Canadian geese. Stand still, take a panoramic look around. You might see a coyote scampering across the fairway in the early morning. |
