We had our September HAM Club meeting on 9/29/2022 at 11:30 AM.
Ed Hare W1RFI gave an excellent presentation on using antenna modeling software to select an antenna for a given situation. See the recording for that presentation.

We had our July AEA ARC meeting on July 28 at 11:30 AM Pacific time. It was in A3/2226 MMC and on TEAMS
We are looking for presentations for upcoming meetings. We have three slots to fill for this calendar year, August, September and October. We are thinking of a presentation from Sarah about Antennas and a presentation from the local ARRL section coordinator about ARRL. If you can present on a HAM radio related topic or know of someone who can, let me know.

The new circuit and outlet has been installed for the new D8 Amplifier. It will be on the air soon.
The EOC trailer is in place in the VC2 parking lot and ready for setup for Field Day tomorrow.
Come by and help us out tomorrow, Saturday June 25, 2022 between 8am and 5pm.
Today I brought the new Elecraft Amplifier to the D8 shack and took it out of the box.
its footprint is a bit smaller than the old amp, but it comes in two parts with the power supply as a separate unit.
It has a 20 amp AC plug but different style than the old amp. I will have to have the electrician install a new receptacle. While I do that I will have it moved to the West wall since that will be behind the amp. The current receptacle is on the south wall and requires a longer cord.
Everything arrived with the package. Cables, manual etc.
